Hello all,
I work for a Montreal company that decided to close down our Mississauga satellite Engineering office.
But a group of us in our office have got together to buy out the assets to carry on our work as an independent company.
Now I have the challenge of setting up a IP phone system to replace the Cisco CallManager that we were connected to in Montreal.
We have retained all Cisco IP phones router and switches.
We have until June 5th to shutdown and switch to a new system.
Having said that I have contacted a few Telco's and they want 30K+ to setup a new VOIP Cisco system.
Having limited funds my research pointed me to Asterick as a cost effective solution. But there are some questions I have maybe some of you can answer.
1.)How do I retain the current bank of Mississauga phone numbers?
2.)Would 2 T1 connections be enough for 40 concurrent users?
3.)What Toronto VOIP providers would one recommend?
4.)Does anyone have a standard checklist for setting up a VOIP system?
5.)Any help is appreciated!!
Thanks in advance,
